SIS Lunchtime Roundtables

SIS are hosting a range of new Lunchtime Roundtable sessions with expert guest speakers to encourage discussion and engagement with our attendees.

These informal and informative sessions will be hosted by Kieran Daly, Head of Market Building from Social Investment Scotland. Not only will Kieran be speaking with expert guest speakers from a number of sectors but he’ll be sharing information on new funds, business support programmes and give an overview of how social investment can work for you.

Roundtable session: Health & Social Care

Health & Social Care

Wednesday 3 November, 12:00 – 13:00

Health & Social Care has been stretched to its limits during the recent pandemic and many have had to adapt their strategies and re-think how we work in the new normal.

Guest Speakers from ALLIANCE and The Mungo Foundation will be sharing their experiences, whilst allowing input from our attendees about the challenges involved.

SIS Roundtable session: Technology Technology

Wednesday 10 November, 12:00 – 13:00

In this interactive session, we’ll be joined by Jo Halliday, Founder and CEO of Talking Medicines, and Hazel Jane Scotland Entrepreneur Engagement Manager at Tech Nation.

We will give you an overview of Social Investment and discuss the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the technology industry as a whole and the route to recovery.

Bridging Loans

Wednesday 17 November, 12:00 – 13:00

We’ll be looking at how Bridging Loans enable businesses to manage the difference in timing of income and expenditure; or rather, the mismatch between when money comes in and when you need to spend it.

Our Guest Speaker will be a SIS customer, Tobermory Harbour Association, who will discuss how grant and loan investment has supported their business, and how it might work for you.
