Market Building Manager (Engagement)
Salary - £40,000 (pro rata for hours worked)
Location - Hybrid working from home, Edinburgh head office and/or other community venues
Contract type - Full time, open to applicants looking for part-time (minimum 28-hour per week). Flexible working arrangements.
Purpose of the role:
The Market Building Manager (Engagement), based within the Market Building team, plays a key role in connecting organisations with SIS and the support they need to grow and thrive.
The role builds and manages relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders through the delivery of SIS Funding Socials and Growth Funding Surgery events, while coordinating tailored business support for social enterprises through SIS’s network of expert Business Associates.
Working closely with the Head of Market Building and Market Building Manager (Programmes), the role delivers high-quality events, business support and engagement activity that raise awareness of social investment, strengthen partnerships and contribute to the development of SIS’s future investment pipeline.

Office & Operations Support Manager
Salary - £36,000 (pro rata for hours worked)
Location - Hybrid working from home, Edinburgh head office and/or other community venues
Contract type - Part-time, 21 hours a week. Flexible working arrangements.
Purpose of the role:
The Office & Operations Support Manager is a newly introduced role within the Finance & Operations team, responsible for supporting the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the organisation. The role provides practical coordination and oversight across core operational areas including office management, administrative processes, facilities, and organisational systems. In addition, the role provides coordinated support to the COO, CEO and Board, ensuring the effective organisation of meetings, governance processes, and associated documentation.
Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the postholder will help ensure that operational and governance activities are well organised, efficient, and responsive to organisational needs, while contributing to continuous improvement in ways of working.
