Financial Inclusion for Scotland is calling for the UK Government to introduce a Fair Banking Act that would require banks to transparently share information about their performance in tackling access to credit. This could be through providing affordable credit to people on low incomes themselves, or by supporting community-based credit providers to do so. 

The Government is now considering what its strategy will be for addressing financial exclusion (something it promised in its manifesto). We need to persuade enough MSPs and MPs to support the Fair Banking Act and ensure it is adopted as a central pillar of that strategy.

You can help us win this campaign by emailing your MSP, asking them to back the Act. Here's how:
