Social Investment Scotland is proud to launch The Growth Circle - a brand-new programme, supported by the Scottish Government, designed specifically for experienced leaders of social enterprises and charities who are ready to scale their organisation and amplify their impact.

If you're a founder, CEO, or senior leader who’s been leading for a while, you’ll know that growth brings both opportunities and challenges. The Growth Circle is here to help you take that next step with confidence, clarity, and a supportive community behind you.

What is The Growth Circle?

Running from October 2025 to March 2026, this six-month programme offers:

  • Time to step back and reflect on your leadership and strategy

  • A chance to connect with peers who understand your challenges

  • Tailored expert advice for your organisation

The programme includes a blend of in-person sessions at The Barracks in Stirling and online meetups via Zoom. With just 12 leaders in the cohort, you’ll benefit from a close-knit group where everyone has space to share, learn, and grow together.

What You’ll Gain

The programme focuses on three key areas:

1. Leading like a coach
Learn how to empower and support your team more effectively, building trust and autonomy.

2. Peer support
Share ideas and challenges in a safe, supportive environment with fellow senior leaders.

3. Expert guidance
Receive up to four days of tailored support from SIS Associates, covering topics such as:

  • Finance

  • Legal

  • Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

You'll also have the opportunity to explore funding and social investment options with the SIS team.

Meet Your Facilitator

Jane Bruce, SIS Associate and founder of Brilliant Leaders, will lead the programme.

Jane brings extensive experience from her leadership roles at Social Bite and Venture Scotland, and she’s passionate about helping leaders grow in a way that’s both practical and sustainable.

Who Should Apply?

This programme is ideal for you if:

  • You’ve been leading a team for five years or more

  • Your organisation is medium to large in terms of community impact

  • You’re ready to invest in your own development and your organisation’s next phase of growth
