Responsible finance provider Social Investment Scotland (SIS) is bringing its nationwide Funding Socials programme back to Dundee, giving charities and social enterprises the opportunity to connect with funders, sector specialists and peers.

The event, taking place at The Circle on 29 October, will help third sector leaders from across the region explore new approaches to income generation, understand the social investment options available to them, and learn how to grow their organisations’ impact.

Designed for organisations looking to grow their income and scale their activities, the Dundee Funding Social is open to charities, social enterprises and community groups from all sectors. Attendees will hear from Social Investment Scotland's Head of Market Building Kieran Daly, and Investment Manager Brian McNee.

Funding Socials returns to Dundee at a time when the city's vibrant third sector continues to play a vital role in local communities, with charities, community groups and social enterprises employing more than 2,600 people and spending almost £130 million each year delivering essential services in the city.

Kieran Daly, Head of Market Building at Social Investment Scotland, said:

“Accessing the right funding can be a significant challenge for organisations seeking to grow, particularly when opportunities feel hard to navigate. Events like this are vital because they bring the right people into the room to share practical advice, respond to questions, and signpost clear pathways to support. Dundee already has a thriving third sector, and this event aims to ensure local organisations have the tools, connections, and confidence needed to maximise their impact.”
