Trustees
SIS is seeking to appoint up to four new Trustees to join its Board at a pivotal point in its strategic journey. These are voluntary, non-executive appointments, offering the opportunity to contribute to the leadership of a nationally significant organisation operating at the intersection of finance, impact and social change.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Charity or social enterprise leadership
- HR, People & Culture expertise
- Strategic risk management.
Previous non-executive or trustee experience is welcomed but not essential.

Our team are spread across Scotland, working from our Edinburgh office, home or community and co-working venues. We meet face to face at least quarterly for ‘Moments that Matter’.

We offer a competitive pension scheme with SIS contributing 8% of a team member’s salary when the individual makes a minimum contribution of 4%.
Generous holiday allowance
Recharging your batteries is important. SIS full-time team members benefit from 39 days leave per year, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and the 2 of January (allowances are adjusted for part-time hours).
