Creative Ambitions is a new skills programme developed & delivered by Social Investment Scotland and The Future Economy Company, funded by Skills Development Scotland.
Designed specifically for freelancers who are in the performing arts and live events sectors. This programme is an online programme that aims to upskill and retrain, so that you can realise your potential as a creative freelancer.
Kicking off in January 2022, we will cover topics such as attracting money, plate spinning and meaningful collaborations, plus so much more.
Working with specialists and peers who get it, this skills programme is the first of its kind and we hope you can join us.
On the launch of Creative Ambitions, Rachael Brown, Chief Executive of The Future Economy Company shared –
“I am really excited that we are delivering creative ambitions together with SIS. We have worked together over a number of years and this development is routed in the work we have been delivering with freelancers. We know that freelancers have had a really difficult time throughout the pandemic, so to be able to offer the first skills programme for creative freelancers together is brilliant, we have listened and curated a series of options that we hope up skill and retrain, as well as simply support.”
Kieran Daly, Head of Market Building at SIS added –
“We are delighted to be supporting the creative ambitions programme with the Future Economy Company. Our aim through this programme is to provide creative freelancers with the skills, confidence, support and inspiration to look to the future and readily access the potential opportunities it presents. The experience and expertise of our specialists will guide and inform your learning through a range of key and relevant topics to help you recognise and develop your next steps.”
